The document points out the value of the technology implemented in ANSYS SpaceClaim with regard to the ‘design driven simulation’ approach.

Starting from a Piaggio geometry of a cater a simulation design flow is described. By means of ANSYS SpaceClaim the geometry is prepared to the simulation and parametrized. This critical phase of the analysis flow is described even by means of video captured in the SpaceClaim interface.

The geometry in Mechanical environment is easily meshed and a static structural analysis is described. Taking advantage of the parametrization achieved in ANSYS SpaceClaim a DOE approach is set up in ANSYS DesignXplorer.
